Women aren’t the cause of their sexualisation. Read that again.

This idea that a woman should control how sexually a man views her needs to get in the bin expeditiously. Men sexualised women. They always have.

Men made beauty a woman’s currency. How a woman decides to treat her body shouldn’t affect how sexually she’s viewed. Especially by men she wouldn’t even blink at twice. That’s it.

I’m tired of this narrative where modesty is supposedly a woman’s issue to deal with in order to prevent herself from being sexualised by creeps in the name of lust. God didn’t give these women curves & visible assets (booty/breasts) to be hidden and constantly sexualised.

If you can’t look at a woman without sexualising her (regardless of what she is wearing), then you are the problem. Seek help from within. Fix that. Somehow your siblings can walk around without you sexualising them in a bikini but any other woman suddenly is a sex piece?? Ite.

Do women not lust too? Why can a man think it’s okay to walk around topless or with sagging pants but if a woman does it (even the SLIGHTEST bit of cleavage), suddenly she’s sexualised??

Are breasts not primarily for breastfeeding?? Do men not also have nipples? Why aren’t theirs censored on TV?? This is men’s doing. Men are the problem. Patriarchy is the cause.

I am sick & tired of women being made to feel like they have to cover up in the same places that men can freely expose. Women are just as much humans as men. A woman shouldn’t have to make extra decisions on her appearance just to avoid being sexualised or, in some cases, abused.

Men don’t even deserve to have this much of a say on how women should conduct themselves when for the most part, they’ve BEEN making catastrophic choices. Let women express themselves freely.

Women’s clothing choices aren’t the problem, men’s internalised creepy dirty minds are.

A woman can be minding her business but because she has bigger breasts than average or a bigger bum she should cover up even more just so men won’t treat her differently?? Come on, man.

Women having to cover up solely for men to leave them alone just will never sit right with me. Sorry not sorry.

Anyways, let’s hope men start looking within rather than blaming innocent women for their sexual urges. If women really were to blame, even Jesus would’ve sexualised women & we all know He never once did. God bless you all
