This is not surprising. Vaccine supply is limited by the capacity of the patent-holding & trade secret-owning companies (Pfizer, Moderna, etc). It is baffling that in a crisis that has killed 2m people & is costing the global economy £trillions world leaders are shrugging their heads & not pursuing IP waivers/compulsory licensing to boost vaccine supply (even when their own countries do not have sufficient supply).
