That these people would gladly throw away protections for cis queer people, and also protections for cis women, because a trans girl might have the AUDACITY to win a fucking silver medal at a high school track meet is just—

There is no rational justification for any of this, it is just disgust, hatred, and wilful fucking ignorance dressed up in a pant suit and given a column in the Times.
