With all the damn hoaxes even I was a bit nervous abt getting vaccinated. But it's a huge step in controlling the pandemic! So fingers crossed!
Got my first dose today, it's just like any other intramuscular vaccine. Just a little pinch on the outer part of your upper arm.

After the shot they observe you for 30 mins for any signs/symptoms of adverse reactions/side effects.
I was okay so they let me go home and told me to come back in two weeks for my second dose.
Also gave me a number to contact if I experienced any side effects at home.

On the way home all I felt was just... I felt super sleepy lol.
Had a nap when I got home then woke up with a headache, this is pretty standard for me every time I take short naps tho so it wasn't the vaccine I don't think. Took some paracetamol just in case.

Our country is using Sinovac/Coronavac for the current vaccine batch
Oh and by the way if you're worried bcs you have allergies, I'm allergic to penicillin and sulfonamides. Also I get urticaria a lot. Like just as a reference? Lol.

A friend of mine said she got like rashes and felt itchy on the injected arm, but she contacted the number she was given right away and they gave her some meds.
Her reaction didn't sound too severe tho thankfully.
