Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was born Nov. 20, 1942, at St Mary's Hospital. The 3-story brick structure was built in 1916 and closed as a hospital in 1978. Today, the building is home to Milton Eisner Yeshiva High School.
Site #2: Joe Biden's childhood home, 2446 N. Washington Ave, Scranton, PA

This house in Scranton's Green Ridge section was Biden's home for most of his first ten years. Since 2007, he's visited the house at least 13x, most recently on Election Day 2020. 👉

This street sign was installed by the City of Scranton across the street from Biden's childhood home on the occasion of his 78th birthday.

A neighborhood haunt in Green Ridge where Joe Biden bought penny candy as a kid. In recent years, Biden has stopped in the store whenever he's been in Scranton, including Election Day 2020.

Young Joe Biden frequented this 950-seat theater at Green Ridge Corners "for the twelve-cent double feature—usually a pair of westerns or Tarzan." Today, the building hosts several businesses.

Joe Biden wrote in his memoir that he often lingered outside this store "waiting for the aroma of homemade candy and ice cream to waft by." Today, the building is home to a gift store, The Curiosity Shop.

As mischievous youngsters, Joe Biden and his friends used to run along the rooftops of the one-story garages that lined this two-block-long street in Green Ridge.
