USA now stands with many wealthy European countries, which allow people who have been living there for several years to regularise their status.
People who have jobs & families & lives established in a country, quite clearly will never be removed, nor would any sane govt want to.

UK is, today, even more of an outlier in our single-minded dedication to cruelty for it's own sake.

To be clear, on the other hand, Biden's approach to the border looks utterly horrendous. This is not going to be some kind of Biden stan account as too many already have, nor should anyone imagine this approach to undocumented migrants is anything much more than self-serving.
I just want to use this policy of his to illustrate how incredibly bad wrong and draconian the UK's is
