Ladies, be on your toes if you go for walks at night. I live in a safe neighborhood and go for walks all the time at night but Iâm always super vigilant and thankfully I was tonight when a car drove up with his lights off, pulled over next to me, jumped out of his car and popped
his trunk and I immediately took off running towards a streetlight where there was someone walking a dog. I looked back over my shoulder once I was a safe distance away and he was slamming his trunk, got back in his car and sped off. If I hadnât seen him coming or felt like
something was off, I donât know what wouldâve happened. Luckily someone else was out there and saw what happened too. I tipped off the police but since his lights were off I didnât get a good look at him or his license plate. Please be careful out there, Iâm still shaking. Also,
Please donât tell my Grandmother that I didnât have my pepper spray, she reminds me to carry it every day - I promise Iâll never leave without it or a walking buddy ever again. 
Iâm not trying to freak anyone out or get sympathy, Iâm only sharing this to remind even one person to be extra vigilant out there, it doesnât matter where you live.
Nothing like this has ever happened to me before so blatantly and I keep replaying it in my head, trying to believe he was doing literally anything else but he was moving so fast and definitely on a mission and disappeared as soon as I noticed. Nothing else makes sense
