1/ ACCESS TO INFORMATION REQUEST (ATIP) - THREAD

I'm going to share the latest ATIP I've drafted. This is a follow up to one I had done at the end of summer, in which I had asked to see the science behind the mask mandate. T They sent me back the presentation deck Vera Etches..

2/ ..used to sell the masks to council. Spoiler the deck contained no actual science, studies or evidence, but it did have this slide, & what I've highlighted is what I'm now ATIP'ing.

3/ They also referred me back to the OPH site. I've checked what's on there and can say there is no scientific evidence that mask do anything. The WHO doc on there gives pros and cons, many cons. I go through that doc here in detail. https://twitter.com/GovGone/status/1317106503233474560

4/ So here is the ATIP to what I highlighted on tweet (2). I am trying to be more specific in what I am asking to not leave room for them to just refer me to the website again.

I will be mailing this tmrw afternoon, so if anyone has feed back I'm all ears.

The staff at the Ottawa ATIP office are actually amazing, they take it seriously. They will communicate w/ you to clarify things & work with you. They are also timely. I have only good things to say.
