I've been rung up by media folks to give analysis on Biden's speech 🤣
A key difference between Biden and Trump?
1 uses words to humanise
1 uses words to dehumanise
An interesting similarity?
They both have speech impediments.
1 worked to overcome it.
1 doesn't think he has one because his speechwriters are too scared to mention it
Great speeches aren't accidental.
They require a person who is willing to humble themselves by practising, taking advice and practising again.

I personally find Trump's oratory style both vile and disgraceful but he does know one thing very well: he knows the humans he wants to connect to and he knows how to persuade them
I was at the World Speechwriters Conference soon Trump was elected and presidential speechwriters from Nixon to Obama spoke. Republican speechwriters were emotional about the Trump speechwriters not being on the stage. The organisers were also emotional as they explained that
