count for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I will never understand, nor forgive, the Republicans who persisted in their denial of reality. Since then, I've watched politics being played with removal and impeachment by some of those same Republicans.
However, I've also watched law enforcement, with the help of the American people, identify and investigate many of the perpetrators. I've seen firings, disgrace, arrests and indictments. Not one person has been executed, poisoned, or disappeared. There will be trials and
sentencing, prison and more disgrace to come. No doubt, some of the costs and penalties will be political. What there won't be are purges and gulags.
Today, we swore in a new president and vice-president under very tight security, but we did so in the open and right on schedule.
