I have been on Twitter for a few months now. Been thinking about how I want to use Twitter. The kind of things I want to write about. This hits the mark for me (h/t @andy_matuschak, @michael_nielsen) -
I want to think out loud. Have a conversation with myself about ideas, books, videos, articles, music I am interacting with. Or just random thought streams. Writing mainly for myself but each tweet could be a conversation starter.
I like reading polished twitter threads, nice one liners etc. But the accounts I really enjoy following are the conversational ones. A bit of @patio11, @vgr, @itunpredictable, @visakanv to name a few.
Why Twitter? What's the point of all this? Apart from getting good at improvised writing and thinking. I think I can make friends here. Learn. Collaborate on fun projects with cool people over the internet. Maybe meetup during travels. Maybe get a job?
I can see myself write about a range of topics on here because I like the whole "T-shaped" concept (h/t @Sirupsen, @danshipper). Could change if I find a niche I can't stop thinking about?

The long-term goal is to write deeply about a topic like @kevinakwok, @Alex_Danco. Maybe a web publication like @thisisehsan. Or an interactive web media around a domain like @worrydream!
You can follow @coldsuraj.
