The proclamation contains imp practical steps for undoing the damage of the bans. The Secy of State is required w/n 45 days to produce a plan for dealing with those who applied for visas and waivers over the last 3 years. Hoping these folks get a serious break.
Calls for a review of new screening & vetting procedures put in place bc of the bans, including the form DS-5355, which made applying for a visa extremely onerous.
On info sharing w foreign govts, the proclamation emphasizes diplomatic efforts & capacity building -- as opposed to the punitive bans.
I'm a little worried about what this means: the proclamation asks for reccs on "ways to further integrate relevant executive department and agency data into the vetting system." This is already happening, as explained in this @BrennanCenter report.

Glad to see that the administration is not only revoking the bans, but is also working to undo or review the secondary rules that they triggered.
