I’m so proud of what you accomplished — but also how you served our country, Dad @mikepompeo
Four years ago, our family had no idea what God had in store. Hard to concisely sum it up, so I won’t try. But what I will say is that I’ve never been more proud of you than I am today.

Your list of accomplishments is a long one, including, quite literally, brokering peace in the Middle East. I went to bed every night feeling safer knowing you were there to stand firm in the face of evil and make the tough decisions for our country.
But I’m not just proud of what you did — I’m also proud of how you did it.
You were always honest and direct, no one had to wonder where you stood. You held firm in your faith and your values, despite relentless, egregious and often unfounded attacks from the media.

You worked tirelessly — 20hrs/day, 7 days/wk for 4 years. And every decision you made, you made with America’s best interest in mind. These are the reasons for which I’m most proud of you.
The American people will never know the full extent of all you did for this country, but I do. I also know the truth about who you are and I could not be more proud to be your son.
Thank you — not only for serving America — but for HOW you served America
