(PLEASE RETWEET) On January 15, 2021 6:30AM, an unidentified man broke into my parent's restaurant, The Crew (in Sunset District, SF) and stole everything valuable to us. A simple retweet could potentially help identify this man and give justice to my parents. (1/12)
The burglar stole numerous valuables and property, amounting to over $10,000 in value as well as all of our family's legal and personal documents. Some of these items include proof of our legal status, social security cards, banking information, usernames and passwords and (2/12)
Addresses. This burglary DEVASTATED us because compared to the electronics and cash, the stolen personal and legal documentation needed for our daily lives, work and restaurant are irreplaceable. -- (3/12)

Immigrant and Asian American community through the restaurant since 2014. Although we have filed a police report, there is not much hope in receiving the justice my parents deserve. (5/12)
Insurance also seems to be unreliable as burglary reports are often hard to get reimbursed for, especially since the burglar stole all of our receipts, serial numbers, and documentation needed for reimbursement. (6/12)
And like many other small businesses, The Crew has been greatly impacted by COVID-19...business has been slow, and we have been struggling to stay open. We have exhausted all our resources to pay rent, including personal and government loans and grants. (7/12)
Even after multiple attempts to negotiate the rent cost, our rent is currently STILL $3100 a month and our landowner refuses to accommodate our rent despite our dire situation. (8/12)
We have been struggling to pay our rent throughout the pandemic and now, we are in danger of not meeting this month’s rent and the months to come. (9/12)
Therefore, I am reaching out to our fellow friends, community members, and people who may know someone who runs a small family business to help my parent's restaurant recover from this traumatic incident and conduct business as SOON as possible. (10/12)
This restaurant has been their only financial livelihood for years and without this restaurant, they have nothing else for them here in America. It would destroy me on the inside to see them potentially -- (11/12)
