Thanks to the members of Congress who made this event so special, especially after the horrific events of January 6

2/ Thanks to all of the security agencies that ensured a safe transition of power - USSS, DHS, FEMA, Homeland Security, 2500 police officers from around the nation and the federal law enforcement we worked with day in and day out- park police, Capitol police, FBI, and ATF.

3/ Thank you to our neighbors in MD and VA, and thanks to National Guard troops from around the nation, esp our own DC National Guard

And thanks to Americans who are saving the trips to Washington DC for a safer time to travel and enjoyed Inauguration from home—

4/Thanks to DC residents & businesses who endured earlier street closures & more intense security than Inaugurations past—& thanks in advance for your thoughts on how to protect our city & its federal parts too, while keeping our parks, monuments & institutions safely accessible.

5/ And last but not least, thanks to our entire DC government team led by our public safety team for the inauguration- MPD, DCHsema, FEMS....
