I know it's been three and a half years, but Pittsburgh wanted to stay in the Paris Agreement (which to be clear has little to do with the city of Paris, it's just where the agreement was adopted by 197 countries, of which France is only one.)

It's worth pointing out that there were more than 20, billion dollar weather related disasters in 2020. Much of the Western US is currently in drought, and Southern California is already facing wildfire threats right now in what should be the wet season. Climate change is here.
Even if you don't care what the residents of Paris, France think you should care about your constituents in Paris, Texas where the weather is already changing because of climate change.
