The Marketing Twitter Conference - A 🧵

Imagine a conference where there is no keynote. The draw is your friends.

You get to pick your own adventure.

Do as little or as much as you want.

Opportunities for brands and marketers of all levels.
1. The speakers.

Attendees are not just listening. We'll have speakers from specific subcategories: strategy, photography, TikTok, graphic design, etc.

Speakers will do workshop style classes where you learn hands on.
Speakers will also agree to mentor 3 attendees (name is drawn) during the course of the conference.

This way you leave with practical knowledge and experience.
2. Live events

Live podcast interviews and Twitter chats will occur so attendees can see their favorite content live and can even become a part of the show.
3. Hiring

Brands can sponsor rooms to have their recruitment team available to interview the best Marketing Twitter has to offer.

Attendees will be able to send their resume and portfolio prior to the conference and have it send to the brands they want to speak to.
4. UGC/Content Creation

Those who are interested in attending but are unable to afford a ticket, can submit their portfolio to do content creation for a brand during the conference. Any fees agreed to above the ticket price go to the content creator.
5. Swag and Signature Items

Marketers love swag and there will be tons of selfies taken during the course of the conference. Brands will have the opportunity to sponsor conference gear.

There is also the opportunity for a signature drink.
6. Think Tank Sponsorship

As a sponsor, brands can request to have think tank sessions with attendees. If your brand ever wanted to work with the best Marketing Twitter has to offer, this is your chance.
7. Clubhouse rooms

Everyone wants to use clubhouse but it isn't completely accessible yet. Imagine if there were designated rooms based on topics that you could enter and just chat with whoever else was in the room.

Networking without the pressure of it being too formal.
8. Demand

If there is enough demand, we could create a conference for multiple cities across the country and potentially abroad.
9. City options (US for now)

- Miami
- Austin
- Seattle
- Las Vegas
- Boston
10. Dates

Late 2021 - Early 2022
11. @onepeloton meetup

Would be super cool if we could have a couple Peloton instructors for live classes (specifically non tread and bike, since we won't know how many bike and treads we will have available depending on hotel).
12. Mental health resources

We would also ideally have counselors available to meet with anyone who is interested in learning about coping mechanisms and ways for dealing with stress.
13. PR

Learn how to get in publications from the publications themselves. Looking at your @Adweek, @TechCrunch, @thenextweb, @nytimes, @washingtonpost, @verge, @WSJ.
14. Diversity Think Tank

We want to highlight the incredible voices of our community and how our work can make the world a better and more equitable place.

Attendees can share insights about their experiences and brainstorm solutions they can bring back to their teams.
15. Or just drink with your Twitter family on a much deserved vacation.

The beauty of this is you get to engage your way. It will truly be choosing as much or as little as you want.
I'm assembling a planning committee so we can get things off the bird app and into real life.

Stay tuned.
