getting anywhere near the doses we would need from the federal government to get everyone in the 1A and 1B priority groups vaccinated. Please note that certain sites are being designated specifically for different priority groups.
These are the most recent sites where you can get vaccinated in Rockland & Westchester:
Westchester County Center - all eligible people
Local Hospitals - healthcare workers
County Health Departments - first responders/teachers/transit workers in 1B
Pharmacies - people ages 65+

rates of COVID positivity, transmission, & death; vaccine hub plans for the region*; population density; geographic balance, & equity. All well & good-but there are 1000s in Rockland who can't be left in limbo any longer.

for the foreseeable future NY will continue to receive only 250,000 doses per week. Iβve spoken with Congressman Mondaire Jones and he is aware of the need to urge the federal government to send more vaccines to New York as soon as they are available.

Those eligible for the vaccine remain the same from last week - groups 1A & 1B. These groups include healthcare workers, frontline essential personnel, people with immunocompromised conditions* & those age 65+. Check eligibility at http://ny.gov/vaccine .

*At this time, DOH has still not confirmed the list of immunocompromised conditions that will be included on the 1B eligibility list.
