This is infuriating to hear from a kind-hearted, badass and beloved comrade.

y'all are ok with this? https://twitter.com/Copossumrade/status/1351995314920542211
Is this how we treat people who are different from us in our communities? Imagine, instead, a community where we support each other, along with all of our 'inconvenient' differences, instead of shaming ppl for perceived 'flaws' they can't control.
Imagine us all utilizing and appreciating our individual strengths, giving grace to our comrades who have different needs or who've fallen behind, and knowing that other comrades will lovingly pick up any slack we create. We take care of each other.
We don't all have to get along and we don't all have to be polite to each other, but I do expect my comrades to not be assholes about fellow comrades' disabilities.
When a comrade isn't getting something, or their behaviors are unfamiliar to you, why is it that I see people make fun of them, antagonize them, and avoid inclusivity?
Why, instead, aren't more comrades thinking "Hey, ___ doesn't understand this. Maybe I could have compassion and support them (or at the VERY least, avoid being cruel and talking shit about ppl's neurodivergences)" ?
When we take care of our unhoused neighbors, we don't judge addicts for being addicts; we don't judge the mentally ill when they're behaviors are unfamiliar but not harmful. Why the fuck aren't we giving the same grace to comrades who are shoulder-to-shoulder w us on the streets?
Ask yourself who benefits when our community has a culture of toxicity, bullying, and separation into de facto hierarchies.

I'll tell you one thing: the state is prob laughing their asses off at the fact that we can't even stop each other from bullying folks for being autistic.
Anyway, gotta get moving. But seriously if I hear anyone saying "just don't be autistic" to a comrade, ...y'all better hope I'm not in a bad mood that's all ✌🏼

We love @Copossumrade friend and we don't let bullies bully them !!! 😤❤️
