10 sneaky signs that you may have Inattentive ADHD:

A Thread
1. When someone is talking *specifically* to you, you look them in the eye, nod, and sometimes even ask relevant questions... only to realize later that you didn't register a single thing they said to you.
2. You frequently feel the urge to interrupt people when they're talking because you're afraid you'll forget what you were going to say if you don't.
3. You get reasonably mad at yourself for doing dumb shit all the time, such as: losing your keys, forgetting a deadline or appointment, being unorganized, having a messy room/office/car.
4. You forget what you were LITERALLY just thinking/saying, and have to backtrack to try to retrace your thoughts. You very rarely have success with this.
5. When you're aware that you're running late, but you lollygag instead of getting ready (ie sprawling out naked in your bed after taking a shower and playing that stupid puzzle game on your phone or getting knee-deep in Facebook Comment Drama)
6. Randomly dropping a lot of money on things you don't really need... but ordering it just felt so RIGHT.
7. Feeling immediately guilty about spending money on said thing (see #6)
8. Not opening packages because you're either feeling guilty about ordering it - see #6 & #7 - or because you don't have the mental capacity to deal with it.
9. Avoiding basic things like paying the bills or showering because you feel like it takes too much effort. You HAVE the money to pay the bills - you just don't want to open the envelope because it's a whole thing.
10. Making HUGE life decisions every week because last week's huge life decision just isn't doin' it for you anymore.
