STARGAZING:
a great song. i love it when the first track is a perfect introduction to the rest of the album. this theme park inspiration is shown by the way the beat switches and this theme is carried over throughout the entire record. every drop feels like a rollercoaster drop.

CAROUSEL:
this track shows a case of experimenting with the implementation of Frank Ocean and how his vocals fit so well on an instrumental that frank wouldn’t usually get on. it’s very clear that travis had a clear vision in his head when imbedding these interesting features.

SICKO MODE:
as much of a meme this became, this is an excellent track and uses the theme park inspiration to the fullest, with multiple beat switches. amazing ideas in the production style and great verses from both travis and drake. this song was the most popular on the album.

R.I.P. SCREW:
travis teams up with swae lee to pay homage to an inspiration to travis, the late DJ Screw. this track is a lot slower and more mellow than the previous tracks on this album and i think it would be great for late night drives. a case of great range here.

STOP TRYING TO BE GOD:
massive collab here: kid cudi, philip bailey, james blake and stevie wonder on this incredibly psychedelic track. it’s so soothing and trippy, i love it. another case of travis branching out for different features and making it work well. a visionary.

NO BYSTANDERS:
a banger right here. the juice wrld vocals (RIP) are the perfect segway for sheck wes to come in as hard as he did. and of course travis delivered with his verses. a certified slapper. love this track and enjoyed watching travis in the process of making this.

SKELETONS:
another mellow track featuring the weeknd, pharrell williams and kevin parker of tame impala. a floating sort of track. he talks about his superstar lifestyle and his relationship with kylie jenner, who he met at coachella. this song really does feel like slow motion.

WAKE UP:
travis collaborates with the weeknd once again. this has a nice instrumental with the introductory guitar, which fits well. this track is travis and abel reminiscing on their sexual experiences with their significant others. abel’s vocals are so nice on the ears here.

5% TINT:
this track is just a huge brag on travis’ part. he’s basically just flexing throughout this entire track. a pretty solid song. i like the use of the piano loop throughout, and then that’s layered with normal travis scott instrumentation and adlibs.

NC-17:
travis calls up 21 savage for this track and they both deliver good verses. this is a good track with a catchy chorus. and the eerie bells in the background make it sound like the sinister part of a theme park which is what sounds like travis was going for.

ASTROTHUNDER:
this is one of my favourite tracks on the whole project because travis truly grasps the psychedelic sound here and he sounds like he’s in his element. it’s pretty mellow and it’s a vibe. the instrumental is so well produced and i listen to it so much on the regular.

YOSEMITE:
this is probably one of gunna’s best performances on a track and he has the chorus. travis named this track in reference to a nature park. it’s quite mellow and soothing. travis once again brags about his success as an artist and rightfully so, he’s made great music.

CAN’T SAY:
this is my favourite track by far. when i first heard this i had no idea who don toliver was and i think it was the same for others. travis did good but don was the star of this track; his vocal performance was out of this world it made me a fan of his music. so good.

WHO? WHAT!:
travis’ flow here is so nice here and he uses his autotune quite well. just a bop really, the adlibs are cool too. when is travis not flexing on a track haha, he’s just rapping about his lavish lifestyle and having fun on this track. good song.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT:
the water-like introduction and the summer vibes throughout made this a hit and travis actually released this as a single before this album was out and is one of his most popular songs to date. it’s quite catchy and a good summer track.

HOUSTONFORNICATION:
travis goes so hard on this and his performance was great. the instrumental is top class and he switches up his flow multiple times; the occasional iconic adlibs that travis is known to use a lot, are in the background. he absolutely ripped the beat to shreds.

COFFEE BEAN:
this is the perfect way to end this amazing album. the most introspective song on here. this is what 90210 is to rodeo. travis talks about his struggles in his relationship and how he sees himself as a burden, as shown when he refers to himself as “bad news”.
