gaslighting is when someone tryna make you doubt your perception of reality. it’s when they tell you things happened differently n you KNOW they didn’t. it’s a form of manipulation. it’s not telling people to tip: ITT: drop an example of gaslighting for them who don’t get it yet.
gaslighting is when he talk to you like this, pursues you relentlessly and then insists he NEVER said he love you. its when he accuses you of slashing tires, despite the fact y’all spoke about it years ago so you BOTH know it didn’t happen. it’s not when someone is mean to you.
that’s the most personal i’ll get on here solely for the sake of example, very few things on twitter annoy me as much as bitches using gaslight and classism incorrectly. please. read a book. just one.
