This is just my 2c so disregard if you like, but as someone who gradually made a move (over several years) from mutualism to rothbardianism I think I could offer some pointers to the ancap "struggle for existence." The first being drop the narrow sensed view of anarchism. It's
abundantly clear all anarchists hate the state. However ancaps are among the select few who stop here & don't carry it further to the opposition of *all* forms of domination. Anarchism opposes all forms of domination right down to interpersonal relationships themselves. Secondly,
ground your theory in property. This is an area where I'm sure most ancaps haven't even read Rothbard at all. 99% of existing property norms, whether public or private, are illegitimate. The only reason why you have these anti-immigration "libertarians" is because they
don't grasp rothbardian private property. All of the land will never be legitimately privatized, period. Next on the 86 list is the gold standard. This is a reform at best, certainly not an end goal. The way I see it the only use a gold standard could possibly
serve is capping the money we spend on foreign wars. This is good mind you, but not the end goal of anarchists. Abolishing the monopoly on credit & legal tender hits far closer to home, & incidentally, is like one of the main reasons why crypto is even a thing. The government
shouldn't be controlling our mediums of exchange. So this shouldn't be a leap here. Finally, anticaps have you boxed in when you start defending Capitalism. Instead of defending a several hundred year old system rooted in exploitation & *constant* state intervention, it would be
wise to develop your own historical analysis of oppression & the rise out of feudalism. The anticaps don't have to hold a monopoly on this rise to Leviathan. In fact Rothbard provides a lot of source material here. But rather than matching them with a parallel argument
you're just contented to defending the status quo, then pulling double standards (vulgar-libertarian) whenever someone points out the problems with Capitalism. The stuff you don't like about Capitalism isn't socialism, it's Capitalism.
