Followers of QAnon feverishly believed today would be the long-awaited “Great Awakening” — a day when top Democrats, including most of the people on that platform, would be rounded up and arrested, all part of Trump's secret plan. It's not squaring with what they just watched.

Many QAnon followers expressing confusion about why Trump, who the whole conspiracy had been based on as the country’s savior figure, had seemed to tacitly endorse many of their theories.

Important to remember the consequences of all of this: people lost their jobs and ruined relationships with friends and family because of QAnon. Meanwhile, grifters made money off the conspiracy.
