Today is #InaugurationDay . The peaceful transfer of power is an important part of our constitutional republic.

Equally important is holding power accountable. In that spirit, we want to highlight a number of @JoeBiden cabinet picks that are problematic for liberty (THREAD)
1. Janet Yellen

Biden has nominated Yellen to be treasury secretary.

Not only does she hold one of the worst records in history as chair of the Federal Reserve, now she wants to "curtail" cryptocurrency and continue record deficits.
2. Lloyd Austin

Biden's pick for Defense Secretary brings with him a history of leading wars in the Middle East, something America desperately needs to get away from.

He also has a BIG conflict of interest as a member of the Raytheon board. #BringTheTroopsHome
3. Marty Walsh

It's clear that the top priority for Biden's Labor Secretary will be helping unions.

Under @marty_walsh's leadership, the City of Boston threatened to slow building permits unless UNION construction workers were hired. How's that for fair and impartial?
4. Antony Blinken

Biden's Secretary of State supported the invasions of Iraq & Libya, calling the Iraq War a "vote for tough diplomacy."

He also helped craft Obama’s horrible policies on Afghanistan & Pakistan from 2009-13. His appointment is a disaster for liberty.
5. Jennifer Granholm (Energy Secretary)

As Governor of Michigan, Granholm crushed the state’s oil & natural gas industry with a sweeping series of regulations in favor of alternative energy.

She also has millions invested in those same energies. Coincidence?
6. Avril Haines

Biden's pick for intel chief worked directly with John Brennan to spearhead Obama’s drone-strike campaigns in Somalia, Yemen, & Pakistan.

A continuation of these policies will be a disaster for American foreign policy.
We look forward to holding the Biden administration accountable for the next 4 years. (END)
