Some meetings are necessary. Most are not.

When it comes to 1+ hour meetings where you'll be reviewing materials/decks/etc. – try this 3-step method to streamlining your feedback and review process.

A thread:
Step 1: email the document(s) to everyone involved and give them a determined amount of time to review

"Here is X. You have Y hours to review."
Step 2: provide a Google form (or equivalent) link where your team can submit questions, comments, etc. after they review the document(s)

Tip - leaving this anonymous helps get to the quality feedback and strips the pleasantries, buzzwords, and jargon.
Step 3: once all questions, comments, and feedback are compiled, determine if everything can be addressed via email.

If yes, thoroughly answer or reply to each item and publicly share them with the team.

If no, book 30 minutes and address each item on a call.
This has been a welcome strategy with my team - let me know if you think this framework would work for you!
