Today I had this amazing realisation.

Today, I realised I'm average.
Now initially I contemplated, then I hated the fact, then I googled for solutions and I found out that being average is normal. It's the peak of the bell curve
All of us are average at something. We idolise both Mark Zuckerberg and Virat Kohli.

But ask Zuckerberg to play cricket and boys who play on my street would beat him.
Kohli can't design Facebook's architecture to save his life.
We have a short attention span. But the internet has a lot of information to throw at us.
So we only the outliers, the 99.99%, the exceptional, they catch our attention. People like Mark Zuckerberg, Virat Kohli, Elon Musk.
But for each Virat Kohli, we have millions who can't play cricket properly.
For each Zuckerberg, we have millions of people who can't write a single hello world.

Exceptional is not the new normal, it's the extreme of a bell curve
