$TSLA is leading the way in the EV space but to rule out existing car manufactures is wrong. Looking at American automakers Ford $F looks like a great opportunity imo.

As Henry Ford II famously said “This isn’t the first time Ford Motors has gone to war”

A thread...
$F has been making some great strides in the last yr & has quietly gone under peoples radar.

Huge & loyal customer base
Best selling Pick Up (44 years)
Pretty strong in commercial (Sprinters) & SUV’s
They know their crowd and provide innovations they love (video)

If you have not watched their commercial showing all the gadgets and features the All new 2021 F-150 has I highly recommend you taking a look.
Jim Farley has been making great moves to increase the Ford margins.

Cost reduction & focus on key products (Commercial, Explorer, F-150 & Bronco) He was only appointed in October of 2020
.
The closure of the Brazil plant is very bullish imo, previous CEO’s did not want to go down that route because of the cost associated with it, Farley knew it was the way to go and didn’t hesitate

They will now stop losing money in South America and increase overall profitability
Sales are starting to pick up again, and here is what you should look out for in $F winning portfolio.
Key Highlights of their recent Q4 Results:
If you are like me and would like a deeper dive into their 4Q sales results here they are

Ford says their EV truck is set to be the best they have ever produced https://www.ford.com/buy-site-wide-content/overlays/all-electric-f-150-video/
I am obviously going to bring up the comeback of the BRONCO which has around 190,000 eager reservation holders. Just look at it, It’s beautiful
Here is the average analyst ratings on $F and PT
I have a position and don’t plan to sell anytime soon.

Obviously all of this is not investment advice and you should always do your own research before entering a position.
