1. Stop watching / consuming media.
I gave up any mainstream media a few months ago and It's been the most productive time of my life. Both sides are an echo chamber and there's a reason our nation's brightest aren't in politics....they're smart.

2. Write down goals.
The power of paper is real. I wrote down a goal for Dec. income and missed it, but beat in by 20% for Jan.
Did I fail? Doesn't feel like it.

3. Get uncomfortable.
The idea of sales calls made me want to throw up a few years ago. Now, it's my favorite part of my job. Looking like an idiot is never as bad as you think. I do it 3X a week at least.

I learn as much from the people I mentor as I do from the folks who mentor me. It also feels really good to give back and share knowledge.

5. Be present.
Giving your full attention *to anything* when you're present gives you an outsized ROI. Why? Because 99% of others are not giving full attention. It sounds simple, but it's a HUGE advantage.
