He was also Top scorer for the club in the 2 seasons which he played as a striker which isn't bad for a "Poor number 9" getting 25+ g/a (all comps) in both of them
Martial was crucial in our Fa cup run in 2016 Providing 2 assists in the 3rd round against Derby county as United won 3-1 , scoring the leveling goal in the quarter final against West ham to force a replay which he provided an assist as united advanced to the Semi finals
Martial was crucial in the semi final as he provided an assist to Fellani and scored the winning Goal in injury time as United won 2-1 and advanced to the final which they would later win
He was also crucial in the Carabao cup run mostly in the semi finals as he got a brace against west ham sending united to the semi finals and eventually the final which they would win
The next season Martial started on great form scoring 11 goals in all competitions till January and the arrival of Alexis Sanchez however he did not score a goal since the Chilean's arrival he did however have 20 goal contributions which is impressive for a left winger
19/20 was his best season individually however getting back his natural striker position he scored 23 goals in all competitions only one of them being a penalty and provided 12 assists ending the season with 35 goal contributions . Even having a good game when he didn't score
