plagiarism and said no one would know that info. I don't know what documentary or book I learned the little fact nugget in.
She regretted doing this to me the next round of papers. Most of her papers asked for 5 references. I consistently came in with 30+.

One of those ego trip moments for her until I dead pan delivered 'seriously? You don't know who Hirohito is in regard to the Axis and Ally powers, but you know Churchill and I don't have to cite him? Tell me about Iwo Jima and where it is, or Hiroshima and Nagasaki's importance.'
If it helps, this was 15+ years ago, and the teacher was in her mid 70s. Just to clarify who should have known more at this time just by age alone.

I had taken sophomore & AP Jr. English the same semester my sophomore year of high school and was placed in her senior English class spring of Jr. Year. She felt the need to show the rest of the seniors in class that I was not as smart as them and to not be intimidated. Literally
I had spent fall semester at a boarding school for 'smart kids', but due to bullying, I left and returned to my previous high school. She got it in her head I wasn't smart enough to hack the school so she thought to make an example.

This was not the same racist prick who I turned my midterm 5 page paper into entirely written in the Greek alphabet and got an A on to prove that he was failing the one Muslim kid in class. Took that one to the principal. They kept the teacher because he was a 'good golf coach'.
To clarify - I was not the Muslim kid in question. He was a friend and we compared papers throughout that entire class and we had the same answers on everything but he kept getting marked down. So, I started testing questions by writing some in Greek letters. And this teacher
wasn't reading any of my work, just writing me off as an A. Grant it, the answers were correct in translation. All the tests were open book after all.
Don't get me started on the keyboarding instructor. I could type faster than her and she hated that fact.
Why am I ranting? No clue. But it felt good getting that off my chest.
Maybe it's because we're out of the 4 year hell hole and I'm hoping to see people start treating people better rather than be racist elitist mysogynistic bigots.
