We have to figure out education in the U.S.

We spend more per capita than most developed countries, yet have poorer outcomes.

With automation replacing unskilled jobs, we have to consider the middle class.

We can't just increase taxes on a smaller and smaller tax base.
To be clear, I don't have a solution, but I do think it starts with lifting up the trades: electricians, plumbers, HVAC, hair stylists.

Think there's a lot we could do re: infrastructure.

College shouldn't be touted as the answer for everyone by high school guidance counselors.
Someone said (maybe @AJA_Cortes?) the other day that America is the best place to get rich, but not to raise a family anymore.

When we optimize for GDP are we no longer optimizing for better world for ourselves? Our neighbors? A human-centered society?
