At the risk of being shot at.
Is it just me who finds the almost global scale of laughing at Trumps departure just a little inhumane? The world’s queuing up to openly attack him, to make jokes, to ridicule his departure. Personally I have no opinion of him as he.. #TrumpsLastDay
..was not our leader - but the worlds media openly sneering at him, belittling him, rolling their eyes at him, it’s cruel.
It also causes them to descend to what they perceive his level to be.
I have no doubt he has plenty of faults, & that he’s ticked a lot of people off,
..but he’s also held the Presidency of the United States and that deserves some decency and at the very least, respect.
I suspect we have not heard of the good he has done, & I’m sure there has been, but the media have been so against him from day 1, he never had a chance.
I wish that he could be allowed to go off into the night with some dignity, and the world’s good wishes. Because that’s the humane thing to do.
But this global gloating, the jibes, the sneering? It’s ugly. And it’s a sad reflection of our media & society today.

And bear in mind - if he was your father/brother/husband - would you like to hear the things the media & the world are queuing up to say about @DonaldJTrumpJr father, about YOUR loved one?
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. And let President Trump retire in peace,
I have an acute sense of fair play - and I find this whole thing very ugly.
Rant over. 🌹
