I never thought I was a creative person

5 years as a front end developer and I constantly struggled to make great designs

Now I make websites like this

Here's what changed

And how you can do it too 🧵
"I can't design" is the biggest hurdle to get over

I thought I had no skill either

Start making bad designs

Then make them better

You won't be an expert from the start, and that's okay

The more you practice, the better you'll get
Start by copying

See what others have done, and make it yourself

1️⃣ Understand your tools first
2️⃣ Understand why other designs look the way they do
3️⃣ Adapt them to your needs
4️⃣ Start building on your own
