Today, eligible SFCs will find out if they were found fully qualified or most qualified by the Eval Board, tomorrow your sequence number will post in ACT... since many NCOs are still struggling with this I wanted to help lay out some key points.

There is NO PROMOTION LIST. NO ONE (from this list) is “promote-able” in the traditional sense. All eligible SFC files were evaluated and given a rating 1-6 with 6 being the best (files receiving an avg score of 6 are deemed “most qualified”).
After all ratings are complete, NCOs are ordered from 1-n (n=however many are in your MOS). The LOWER your number, the better. That OML number is where you stand against your peers and will be used for PME, assignments, and yes - promotions.
However - you must meet all other requirements to be promoted once your number is reached (PME, TIG) to be fully qualified and promoted. PME attendance will be offered starting at the top of the OML, as well as assignment opportunities. Likewise, QMP will start from the bottom.
This is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the past for 2 reasons: 1. Winning matters - being the best should make you #1. Not meeting a cutoff and having more TIG/TIS. 2. The old way tried to predict promotion reqs 2 years out. If we needed more, we had to wait for a new board.
Now, we can make that decision every month - which should mean MORE promotions.
Bottom line: this is a much better system that you should know about. Ask your S1 or 1SG/CSM if you have questions and make sure you understand how you’re going to be impacted by the change. Any G/S1s ( @usawtfmJ1) help me answer questions in the comments. /
