Let's start with a quiz.

I've picked 10 Founder CEOs from some wonderful Co.'s in my Portfolio. How many of them can you identify (w/o Googling😀). Mix of easy/hard ones to keep it interesting.

Intentionally left out Bezos, Zuck, Benioff, Dorsey, Lutke etc.

Answers at the end.
My fav pts compiled from the above article. Part1 ⬇️

Summary ⬇️

"It is important to:
1) look at the founder’s long-term track record;
2) look for a strong business model with clear long-term competitive advantages; and
3) carefully assess the price of the business, as price always matters."
"A wonderful business, run by a founder CEO with a long track record of compounding the business value, at a great price, is the trifecta." 👏👏👏
Founder-CEOs like these (and the culture they build and the results they deliver) are the primary reasons why I feel confident to invest in their Co's for the very long-term while ignoring the daily stock price chatter and the interim volatility/drawdowns.
Innovators go to where the puck is going. I similarly invest for my capital to go where (Customer/Economic/Intrinsic) Value is being constantly created.

In many cases, good Founder-led Co's are a great vehicle for that if you do your research.
