In 2016, I quietly told some friends I hoped Hillary would win. Why? Because I envisioned Trump to be the next Herbert Hoover.

Through 3 years, I thought I was wrong. Unfortunately, now I believe I was ultimately right.
Hoover ushered in the Great Depression, ironically enough as an outsider businessman who engaged in a trade war.

This led to FDR and ultimately LBJ as Rs lost control of congress for 60 of the next 62 years.
Since Hoover, the only Progressive speedbumps were Reagan & the 1994 Congress.

Trump ultimately was no different.

He signed every single terrible budget bill passed by the swamp, even after promising after the first he'd never sign another again. Spending dwarfed Obama levels
The fake Obamacare fight and the DACA amnesty cave-in was my last straw with him. He was just like any other Republican, just with more bluster.

I rallied behind him, like many because the Democrats showed just how utterly insane they were during Kavanagh.
Kavanagh was an awful choice, everyone knew it, and yet the Dems still lost their ever loving minds.

Yes, Trump did some good things, better than any President since Reagan. Good foreign policy, excellent regulatory reforms, energy independence.
The best accomplishment was to reveal the media and academia not as opponents, but as enemies. They aren't to be taken lightly.

Some will point to judges. I can't call replacing liberal judges w/ different Ivy League cucks a victory. They clearly screwed us on election fraud.
Gorsuch screwed us on the tranny madness. The Supreme Court session this last June was among the worst in history.

All those points aside, Trump wasn't damaging because of anything he did, but because of our failure as conservatives to do anything other than vote R every 4 years
The worst tyranny in our history took place in 2020. Not under a Democrat, but under Trump. Conservatives just took it because they followed the messaging coming out of th le White House.

C*vid response was the worst thing ever perpetrated on the American public.
Trump and Republican governors allowed BLM to burn, loot, riot, and murder all summer while we were told to stay at home and not go to church, have graduations, funerals, and weddings.

Now they've set up Biden to be the President of peace and tranquility.
If I believed we had 60 years left, we may have just lost Congress for the next 60. Luckily, I believe we'll be put out of our misery long before then.
So, back to the original premise. Would a Hillary presidency have been worse?

Would Republicans have fought against the c*vid tyranny if a Democrat was passing the edicts? Would we even know what a c*vid was if she had been president?
Again, this is more an indictment of our movement than it is a particular person. We just take it if a Republican says so. And now we may have already lost everything.

Happy #InaugurationDay
