I am reflecting today on the last four years. There truly are no words for the destruction, discrimination, and hatred fomented by the entire Trump Administration. Literally every day, we woke up to a new devastating policy to add to our overflowing plates to fight. 1/
It has been exhausting. And my heart breaks thinking about all of the people who have suffered and even died along the way because of these intentionally cruel policies. 2/
At the same time, these last four years have given me hope in justice, seeing the courage of so many colleagues and friends across the country who never gave up. I have collaborated with so many incredible people and learned so much. 3/
When you’re side by side in the trenches, you see who people really are. And I am so privileged and thankful for the friendships I have made. 4/
I am looking forward to starting a time when our successes can again by measured by what we achieve instead of what we stop. Here’s to hope. 5/5
