Goodbye for now. A letter to my friends.
Hey, friends. I'm saying goodbye for now, for a season, maybe a little longer. I need to make some life changes. And I need time, energy, and focus to do it.
Owing to this fake pandemic, the robust, 10-person group I was part of in April has recently been reduced to one—me. My hours have been creeping into the 60-hour per week range. And my company won’t hire again until there’s enough work on board to justify it.....
.....By which time I’ll be in the 80-hour per week range.
I’ll be looking to start my own company to avoid this scenario. I don’t want to merely find another job. I want to create a different life.

I also need time and quiet to catch my breath after some deep healing the last couple of years, the last year in particular. I need space to let it all settle within me.
So it’s goodbye. For now.
