Rishabh Pant was born in Roorkee which falls under Haridwar district of Uttarakhand.
As a resident of UKD I know even till now there has been no good done in Field of Cricket, though board got recognized 2-3 years back but future is still uncertain.

Rishabh Pant's journey however didnt stop due to this:
At the age of 12, Pant would travel with his mother to Delhi during the weekends to get trained under Tarak Sinha at the Sonnet Cricket Academy.

He and his mother stayed at a gurdwara in Moti Bagh locality as they did not have a place to stay in the city.

Pant was told to play for Rajasthan Cricket Team by his coach but no good occured. Rishabh however bettered his technique and eventually played for Delhi Under 19 team.

His turning point came when he was playing U-19 cricket for Delhi against Assam. Pant had top-scored with 35 but was severely reprimanded by the coach for giving his wicket away at a hat-trick. He then hit 150 in the second innings which was the most important knock in his career

First Class Career :
Rishabh Pant made his First Class and List A debut for Delhi in 2015-16 season.
In 2016-17 Rishabh Pant scored 308 against Maharashtra. Pant was third youngest Indian to make a 300 in First Class cricket

On 8 November 2016 ( date famous for some other reasons),Rishabh Pant scored fastest century in Ranjhi Trophy of just 48 balls

UNDER 19 WORLDCUP 2016:
Rishabh Pant was appointed as the deputy of Ishan Kishan who was the skipper of Indian team.

In league game vs Nepal Rishabh Pant scored 50 of just 18 balls to get fastest ever 50 in under 19 cricket

Rishabh Pant scored 111 of 96 against Nambia to power India to SemiFinals of U19 WorldCup

Though the campaign ended with an Indian loss in Final against West Indies , Rishabh Pant became the find of the tournament

INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE :
We know how good Rishabh has been in IPL .
Bought in 2016 for 1.9 crore by Delhi Daredevils , Rishabh Pant has become an important part of Delhi Squad.I see him as the future skipper of the team

In 2018 IPL Season,Rishabh Pant scored 684 runs at a strike rate of 173 and an average 52 and won the emerging player of the season award.
Pant scored 128 not out from 63 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, making the THEN highest individual score by an Indian cricketer in IPL

Rishabh Pant made his t20 debut vs England in 2017 and his ODI debut in 2018 vs West Indies

In July 2018, Pant was named in India's Test squad for the series against England.He made his Test debut against England on 18 August 2018.He became the first batsman for India to get off the mark in Test cricket with a six

On 11 September 2018, Pant scored his maiden Test century, against England. He became the second-youngest wicket-keeper and the first Indian wicket-keeper to score a Test century in England.

Later in the year he played in Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia and scored 25+ runs in each innings being consistent with bat and eventually scoring 159* at Sydney becoming the first Indian wicket keeper to score a 100 in Australia

2019 was a tough year .With lot of expectations Rishabh Pant failed in limited overs . People started questioning him and wanted to replace him .

2020 IPL where he was consistent for DC playing good cameos intially in tournament , eventually ended in people questioning him after his poor performance and inability to time the ball after injury.

Rishabh Pant however cameback in style hitting a half century in Final of IPL when the team lost 3 early wickets.

However he was dropped from the limited overs squad for the Australia tour.I was disappointed as well but just wished that he scores in Test Series

Rishabh Pant didnt prove his fans and the management wrong and top scored for India in the Border Gavaskar trophy . His 97 at Sydney laid foundation for a famous draw and his unbeaten 89 at lead India to a famous victory at Aussies' fort Gabba

Pant has been one player who has been my favorite since 2016 . Over the years he overcame various difficulties , moved to a new city to play cricket lost his father at a young age, highly criticised by fans, booed when he dropped catches but he has shown that he is a match winner

Hope he makes a comeback in limited overs team and contributes to team . He is a born match winner
