Fine I'll talk about why trans people and especially trans men find misgendering kinks and transphobic tropes in smut so sexy then, since apparently we can't just enjoy ourselves in peace without having our identities invalidated
First of all -- being misgendered is an act you can't control. It involves someone else making the conscious choice to invalidate your identity and gender without your consent. Misgendering *kinks* involve the consent of the party being misgendered. Please learn this distinction
So why would someone WANT to be misgendered in a sexual context? As i said before, it's about consent and control. The main draw is taking something that you cannot control and that can harm you, and reclaiming power by *choosing* to allow it to happen in a safe environment
Same reason forced feminization is so popular for cis straight men, right? They're stuck in a society where they can't be feminine or submissive or they'll be bullied, belittled, abused etc for it. Suddenly they can do it freely of their own volition and it's sexy now bc power
When I read about misgendering kinks or "transphobic" porn, I am *making* that choice, consciously, to take back the helplessness I feel from being misgendered and find *pleasure* in the act. Do not ever underestimate the power that sexuality brings. It offers control
That's literally it. We want to be able to control what happens to us. Some people like the embarrassment and shame aspect too, but again, it's in a controlled environment. No one *wants* to be misgendered without consent
If you don't like the kink, you're welcome to try blocking people who do and minding your own business instead of moaning that you don't understand it so it MUST be bad
You don't have to be trans to enjoy porn with misgendering either. I just want to make that clear. What you like in porn and fantasy doesn't matter. How you treat the real life trans people around you outside of consensual, controlled environments does
