Alright, it's that time again. Here are the plays I've highlighted from tonight's 4-3OTL to the Winnipeg Jets. I should really come up with a name for this. Any ideas?

Alex Galchenyuk had a phenomenal game, and it started on his very first shift. He wins the battle along the boards, and cuts to the net for a quality scoring chance. This kicked off the sequence that peppered Brossoit with shots, and generated tons of momentum.

Josh Norris' first NHL goal was created by some outstanding puck movement. I really like this top unit, and Norris staying with the puck to collect his own rebound was a veteran play.

The #GoSensGo have run into trouble a few times this season by committing turnovers at the opposing blue line. This time, Artem Anisimov is the culprit, and it takes a sprawling save by Matt Murray and a penalty to keep the puck out.

The #GoSensGo penalty kill currently sits at sixth-worst in the league, and Matt Murray has saved them from being down even further. Plays like this are the reason why; giving high shooters an egregious amount of space, with traffic in front, is a recipe for disaster.

The Paul-Tierney-C. Brown line has been excellent to start the year. The #GoSensGo second goal (still not sure if they gave it to Brown or Tierney) was created by a great forecheck from all three guys.
Side note: Another Nikita Zaitsev assist. Ho hum.

It feels like I'm gushing about Drake Batherson every game. Watch this stickwork, and the way he protects the puck to draw the penalty, and still get it to the net.
He's turned into an unquestioned Top 3 forward on this team, and he's only getting better.

People have been hard on Evgenii Dadonov through his first three games, but I like a lot of what I've seen. His effort level doesn't get enough credit. Dadonov makes a diving play to try and keep the puck in, and it's something you see from him a few times a game.

The #GoSensGo as a whole have improved in their own end, structurally speaking, but there are still some lapses. Nick Paul gets a bit lost in space here, and leaves Kyle Connor open for a glorious chance.

Back to Galchenyuk, his goal again starts with good puck movement on the powerplay. The #GoSensGo have done a much better job of not staying stagnant, and getting penalty-killers and netminders moving side-to-side.

Hard to argue that Murray had a chance in hell to stop this one.

I really hope the coaches don't panic if the top line hits any minor snags, and just let them continue to grow together. Watch the pursuit by Norris, and the way he sets up the Batherson chance.

The gamewinner is a tough one. #GoSensGo are tired, and Anisimov just can't get back in time. They deserved a better fate tonight, but hopefully it's a burning in the gut of a young team.
