Ok, a thread about why you should be aware about Eiichiro Oda or he isnt that based, or u shouldn't take him as a proper role model. And trust me, this comes from a huge One Piece fan...

1-Ok, he was Noburiho Watsuki's assistant but 2021 and he says that a pedophile has a great personality, yikes!
2-He is Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi's close friend, other dude that was on prision due child prostitution back on 2002 and this one helped him to get his job back

3-Regards Watsuki, there are several interviews that after 2017 about Oda referin him as a great influence. Yes, we're talkin about the mangaka that made the most sold manga that is even on Guinness World Records.
4-I'm not gonna talk about One Piece's problems thats other topic

5-But I'm gonna mention something I think is worth and, if you're new drawing, please dont take seriously Oda's habits in the moment he does his manga...he may be really responsible but only sleeps like 3 hours per day, also keep on mind how workholic is japanese society...

6-Basically saddens me the fact, he literally lives on his studio and, doesnt see his wife and daughters due the work, personally I think is sad (and disrespectful to his kids if he openly supports pedophiles)

8-Pretty much he only apparently lives inside on his own bubble dedicated to his manga, I'm not saying "cancel One Piece" but seriously think twice before to call him a "god" or something like that, is kind of sad see the social pressure made on a person, and sucks because....

9-...he is really talented but now I'm thinkin twice about getting OP's related stuff (i get it second hand,piracy...oh the irony), I dunno there are many things off about this guy and supporting Watsuki is like the tip on the iceberg.
