the thing about trump building a new political party is everyone knows he can’t build anything worth a shit but he can sure as hell wreck an existing one like a tomahawk missile strike. have fun!
he doesn’t have to lift a finger. doesn’t have to win a thing. he’s got the email lists, the donor base, the media. all he’s gotta do is fire off a bazillion emails saying give me your money and don’t vote for those losers. half the gop votes just thanos snapped out of existence.
not a single “patriot party” candidacy has to ever be real. it doesn’t even need to exist. he just has to send the emails and drum up the lunatics and he turns the gop into a rump party.
people are analyzing this like “a GOTV operation and getting on the ballot and all the infrastructure is really hard and he couldn’t possibly do it” ignoring the fact that he doesn’t have to do it at all, because it’s literally the easiest thing in the world to just fake it
