Enticing people back to the office is a hot topic. So what will it take to get folks excited to be at their desks once this crisis has passed? Based on dozens of discussions in recent months, here's what I’ve learned: (THREAD)
1/ Offices will move away from a fixed location to more flexible spaces, but location of these spaces is still TBD
2/ It’s up to team leaders and a more human centric approach to draw people back in, not to rely on the physical space alone - says @wdhopkins
3/ The work space of the future may look more like a library or study room than an office. So expect lots of comfy sofas, coffee machines and books, rather than "cubes."
4/ After-hours social interactions could be a good use of excess space. Could we see the rise of the office speakeasy?
Any predictions of your own? I'd love to hear them!
