While tmrw has an ominous glow around it, I don't think anything will happen. Neoliberalism is about min-maxing, control through manageable chaos, & stabilizing global-markets. They're parasites infesting nation-states. Joe's got his mandate, Patriot Act 2.0 will commence
Also, I think the impeachment will fizzle out. Too many GOP senators aren't going to play w/ fire, since they need AF Trump vote to feed back into the party machine. They used it to freeze Trump, lest he be crazy, & trial will be used to continue to push domestic terror narrative
They want another era of Clinton-esque globalization, a claim that Biden is a-political, healing the country. It will be "it's the virus, stupid!", along w/ other technocratic measures, along with condemning the "backwards" who refuse this "Green" retooling of "Build Back Better"
Trump didn't break the cycle, but screwed around w/ it long enough (unlike Reagan or Obama, who toyed w/ populism) that it might actually snap the party. McConnell (or his successors) will have to marionette the voters back into the party, w/ fear of Chicom Joe. Will it work?
