2/ There is something seriously wrong with people — a class of people — who would so brazenly commit a crime and not hide their identity, and then think they were gonna get off. I just think it’s too simple to call this “white privilege.” Sane white people don’t do this.

3/ Cult members do this. People who don’t care what happens to them, do this. People who have, or believe they’ve, been promised that they’ll be hailed as heroes by their leader, Trump, who will then pardon them, do this.

This is cult privilege. It’s Trump privilege.

4/ I just think there’s something way more complicated and dangerous going than simply “they’re white.” Or even “they’re racist.” This is a level of chutzpah while committing a crime that I can’t begin to fathom. It’s the selfless action of a suicide bomber. And that’s scary.
