When I was a kid adult illiteracy was a huge problem, our roadsides were filled with garbage & an unbelievable amount of people died because of drunk driving.
As a society, we decided that this was unacceptable & put our resources after solving these issues.

I think of that a lot these days and I wonder when our focus moved from solving problems to defeating the other party.
We can and should grow as a people & a part of that growth involves recognizing that each party has something to offer us.

about how the other party is evil, then I invite you to consider that you are an key part of the problem.
