finished my Heaven's Feel reread, it was the first vn I read back in the day so coming back to read it with more context and in jp was pretty wortwhile
HF doesn't feel like it has much pacing problems, some scenes are a bit too long but Nasu's writing actually slaps and being a bit too wordy somehow feels like part of the atmosphere.

I usually don't care too much about lore and that stuff anymore but somehow nasu way of writing still gets me very into the nasuverse even after all this years lol
one thing it came to my mind while reading it is the consistency it has with zero, I don't know how much of zero's plot Nasu had in mind while writing, or if he only came out with the important details. But it's amazing how zero came out so good despite the limitations.
The presentation is also top notch for it's time, this is something I didn't realize back then, it's not as flashy as mahoyo obviously but back then they still had this perfectionism mentality, it's really fleshed out overall. Still better than almost everything released today.
the ultimate patch is also nice since you get all the good parts from every version into one, it's a bit too unsteable but as long as you set the settings and don't touch them middle game there are no problems.
hype to marathon the 3 movies once the BDs from the last one is out, curious how they'll animate some of the fights since it feels they wouldn't work at all without narration lol

also gonna have to give the zero and knk books a go soonish too before tsukire
