Interesting data on the City of Seattle's spending on the CHAZ/CHOP.

"According to invoices and work orders, Seattle spent $405,734 on just labor hours and vehicles, installing barriers for the occupiers"

And that doesn't include the money spent on cleanup.
So the real question is why the city leadership was willing to spend so much money.

I'm quite sure it's not merely because they are a bunch of stupid libtards.
If I had a guess as to what the CHAZ/CHOP was really about, it was for the purpose of creating a hideout for VIPs to avoid arrest, one that would require federal authorities to go through waves of "non-violent peaceful protesters" and risk creating horrific TV images. (continued)
And then what? Just try to hold out as long as possible and hope other riots occur and that it eventually leads to dissent within the ranks of the military and an otherwise unmanageable situation.
